At a meeting of the Forehoe Guardians held at Wicklewood Workhouse on Monday, the Board had under consideration four applications for the post of Master and Matron. The committee appointed to deal with the question received over a hundred applications and reduced the number for consideration of the Board to four. The Guardians subsequently agreed the appointment of Mr. and Mrs. Masto, who now hold the position of assistant master and assistant matron in charge of the Wandsworth Union Branch Workhouse, Wandsworth Common. B.W. Mr Musto is 32, and his wife 33 years of age.
