Birth of the Archive - founded 2004
The Wicklewood Archive was the idea of a group of like minded people who felt that it was the right time to start gathering interesting material primarily covering Wicklewood and Crownthorpe, though the hamlets of Kimberley, Hackford and Deopham are our near neighbours.
The Archive team was created by Mrs Jo Cook with founding members:- Mr Bruce Robinson (Chairman), Mr Tom ELbert (Treasurer), Mrs Jo Cook (Instigator),
Mrs Margaret Edwards, Mrs Janet Lister, Mr John Youngman and Alan Coombe (Website and materials reproduction).
The Current Archive team are very grateful for the involvement of previous members of the group:- Mr Bruce Robinson (First Chairman), Mr Tom ELbert (First Treasurer), Mrs Jo Cook (Instigator), Mrs Margaret Edwards, Mr John Youngman, Mrs Dawn Goodings, Mrs Janet Lister, Mrs Rosemay Carpenter and Mrs Sandra Dibbin.
We are collecting or copying any items that you may feel is of interest now and in the future. If you have anything concerning Wicklewood or Crownthorpe we would be very interested to either store the information in a central archive depository or take a copy for the archive. Please contact :-
